"Without health no employability"

This sentence is more than a slogan. It describes the circumstance that no one in the world is able to work or to be sustainable employable without health! If long-term (older) unemployed get all qualification they need to be re-integrated into a job, this is not enough. After a time in the new job the motivation of the "new beginning" is not anymore powerful and the "old" health problems turn up again.

First of all we accompanied the 50Fit-project with internal evaluations all 3 months:

One of our first steps (Working Package 2) was to develop desk researches from all countries of our partners. Here you find the first desk reports from

  1. Germany
  2. Bulgaria
  3. Poland
  4. France and
  5. Spain

Then in every country expert from different fields (labour market, economic policy, sociology (esp. demography, gerontology etc), social policy and health care (including health insurances) shall be interviewed on their special views on questions of health and employability. The first results you'll find here:

  1. Germany
  2. Bulgaria
  3. Poland
  4. France and
  5. Spain

Here you find now the summary of the Needs' Analysis.

If you are interested in some special interviews you can download the individual interview reports here:

  1. Mr. Martin Weiland, Deputy Director, Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), Germany
  2. Dr. Peter Kuhnert, University of Dortmund, Dortmund
  3. Boguslaw Oswald, Poland
  4. Malgorzata Urbaniak, Poland
  5. Christian Hendrichs, Marburg, Germany
  6. Pawel Sibinski, Poland
  7. Agnieszka Lutomska-Dulaj, Director of the Social Policy Department of the Regional Office of Lodz, Poland
  8. Pia Hoppe, executive manager of the Pact for older long-term unemployed people, JobCenter Marburg

Step by step the products and results from following working packages will be published here:

Working Package 3: Educational Modules from all partner countries. With help of a frame the following modules have been developed and have been under observation. Here are the abstracts:

The Evaluation of the impressions of the trainers about the success of the educational modules is also finished.

Here are some answers:

You can read much more in the benchmark report!

Working Package 4: The Benchmark Report

The benchmark process has been finished. First Praxis GmbH sent a questionnaire (e.g. English-Polish, English-German) to all the partners and evluated the answers. Here you can download the report and also the graphs of the benchmarking and evaluation.

Working Package 5: The Compendium

The Compendium now is ready in

The external experts has been asked about their impressions on the Copendium and they evaluated in Torre Pacheco in December 2011 the Compendium. Their result was: Create a little booklet with recommendations. Here are they: The recommendations of the 50Fit project!

Working Package 6: Publications,  press, broadcasting, TV and presentations from dissemination of the partners. These results you can read and hear here.

The dissemination was - together with the intermediate conference in Marburg and final conference on the Employment Forum in Brussels - a central activity. You can read and download the dissemination activities here.

Working Package 7: Cross-over consultation. Our experts helped us to understand the different health and employment systems, their interdependences and we informed them about the results of our modules and their evaluation. At the end most of our trainers and project managers met again and exchanged their knowledge and experiences. The questionnaire prepared a last survey and we have finished the results in a little report.

Working Package 8: Documentations of conferences, congresses and mainstreaming meetings
